We collect the following types of information: • Account information: When you sign in via Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from your Google account. • Booking information: When you make a booking, we collect your ceremony address, city, state, selected date and time, and any notes you provide. • Payment information: Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card details. We receive a payment confirmation and a transaction reference ID from Stripe. • Usage data: We may collect information about how you interact with the platform, including pages visited and actions taken, to improve our service.

We use your information to: • Create and manage your account • Process bookings and send confirmation emails • Connect you with the right pandit for your ceremony • Send transactional emails (booking confirmations, updates) from noreply@rootuals.app • Respond to your support requests sent to admin@rootuals.app • Improve and maintain the Rootuals platform • Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in the following circumstances: • With the pandit you book: We share your name, ceremony address, and booking details with the pandit assigned to your ceremony. • With service providers: We use Stripe for payments, Resend for transactional email delivery, and Vercel for hosting. These providers process your data only as necessary to deliver their services. • With Google: We use Google OAuth for authentication. Your use of Google sign-in is subject to Google's Privacy Policy. • If required by law: We may disclose your information if required to do so by a court order, subpoena, or applicable law.

We retain your account and booking data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. If you request account deletion, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g., financial records).

We use session cookies to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but this may affect your ability to log in and use the platform.
