Cancellation Policy

We understand that life is unpredictable and plans may need to change. This policy outlines the refund terms for bookings made through Rootuals when a cancellation is requested by the devotee (buyer).
Refund Schedule
7 or more days before the ceremony
Full refund of the service balance. The booking is cancelled with no penalty.
2–6 days before the ceremony
We retain 50% of the service balance to compensate the pandit for holding the date.
Less than 48 hours before the ceremony
Cancellations made within 48 hours of the ceremony are not eligible for a refund.
Non-Refundable Booking Fee
The $50 booking fee collected at the time of reservation is strictly non-refundable under all circumstances. This fee covers platform processing costs and compensates the pandit for reserving your date.
How to Cancel
To cancel a booking, visit your Bookings page and select the booking you wish to cancel. Refunds, where applicable, are processed within 5–10 business days to the original payment method.
Cancellation by the Pandit
In the rare event that a pandit cancels a confirmed booking, you will receive a full refund of all amounts paid, including the booking fee. We will also assist you in finding a replacement pandit at no additional charge.
